ŠKODA AUTO India will commence the reservation window for OCTAVIA RS 245 on 01 March 2020


The new ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS 245 comes equipped with the turbocharged 2.0 TSI petrol engine, mated to a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, delivering an impressive power output of 245 PS (180 kW), a 15 PS (11 kW) increase over its predecessor, and a peak torque output of 370 Nm achieved in the 1,600 – 4,300 rpm range. The assertive and dynamic character of the RS 245 is further accentuated by the innovative chassis technology with electronically regulated VAQ limited-slip differential. The high-performance beast of a machine accelerates a standstill to a 100 km/h in mere 6.6 seconds and has its top speed ‘electronically limited’ to 250 km/h – instating it as the fastest ŠKODA AUTO offering, in India. The vRS Mode button, on the center console, adjusts the characteristics of the engine, electronic assistants, and stability control systems, for a penultimate driving experience.

The RS 245 inherits the signature contoured body of the iconic ŠKODA OCTAVIA, and arms it with distinctive design elements. The fascia is dominated by a massive front butterfly grille, with gloss black surrounds and broad honeycomb air inlets, as well as characteristic Quadra headlamps with CystalGlo LED daytime running lights.


The side profile of the OCTAVIA RS 245, with glossy black 45.72 cm R (18) dual tone Vega alloy wheels and wing mirror housings, lengthens the vehicle visually and emphasize the coupé-like silhouette. The sports chassis lowers the body of the new RS 245 by 15 mm when compared to the OCTAVIA model range, on offer, in India.


The C shaped illumination, typical of the ŠKODA model range, is tastefully complemented by the glossy black spoiler and trapezoidal tailpipes that make the vehicle confidently stand out. The radiator grille as well as the tailgate sport the RS badge that features a ‘V’ (for victory) and accentuates the dynamic appearance of the new ŠKODA offering. The ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS 245 can be acoustically recognized by the ‘husky’ sound of its exhaust system.




Step inside the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS 245 and experience how racy and refined can go hand-in-hand. The Carbon décor with LED ambient lighting, with as many as ten colour options, adds to the active theme that continues inside the OCTAVIA RS 245.


The three-spoke SuperSport flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel with paddle-shift and black perforated leather with red stitching lend the vehicle an emotive and authentic appearance. Mitsubishi Electric India supports 3 Government Schools in Indore


 Mitsubishi Electric India has rolled out several social initiatives such as Clean Water & Sanitation, Good Health & Well Being and Climate Action. This year, the Clean Drinking Water program was extended to Indore as well. The initiative is aligned with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The company’s aim is to provide Clean drinking water for school going children and helping to providing a conducive environment for learning to thrive.

Around 15 employees of Mitsubishi Electric India and 5 NGO volunteers joined in the inauguration ceremony at the school.

Husqvarna Motorcycles Bookings Open in India at Rs 1.80 Lacs

Bajaj Auto announced prices of the much-awaited Husqvarna twins in India– Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250.The motorcycles were unveiled at the India Bike Week, Goa on 6th December 2019. Husqvarna, a leading premium motorcycle brand of Swedish origin, is a part of the KTM Group and has been brought to India by Bajaj Auto to complement the hugely successful KTM brand.

Husqvarna Motorcycles will be sold out of KTM showrooms which have been upgraded to sell both KTM and Husqvarna brands. At launch starting early March, the Husqvarna twins will be available at 100 showrooms across 45 cities. Over the next 5 months the footprint will expand to almost 400 KTM showrooms across 275 towns.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen have a unique Swedish design language which is understated, minimalist, elegant and hence extremely differentiated from any other motorcycle in the premium motorcycle segment. The Svartpilen 250 has a more rugged design with an upright stance. It comes with dual purpose tyres and is capable of taking both on and off-road journeys. The Vitpilen 250 has a sportier design, clip on handlebars and a front lean riding position.

The 250 cc machines feature a fuel injected, liquid cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine that produces punchy torque at the highest levels of engine refinement delivering a dynamic and fun-filled riding experience. Isuzu Motors India opens New dealership outlet in Mehsana, Gujarat

Isuzu Motors India inaugurated a new 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) outlet of Torque ISUZU in Mehsana. The new facility adds the existing sales and service touch-points of Torque ISUZU located across six locations in the state. The company also inaugurated the newly refurbished outlet in Rajkot as per the ISUZU dealer identity standards.

The new outlet in Mehsana is set up at an area of around 8000 sq.ft., located conveniently on Mehsana – Ahmedabad Highway, to offer seamless access to the world-class utility vehicles built on the highly dependable D-MAX platform. The new facility adds to the network of touch-points already operational in Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Gandhidham, Rajkot and Vadodara.

The sixth edition of Tyrexpo India, part of the international Tyrexpo Series, kicks off today at Pragati Maidan, Hall No. 12A, New Delhi, India, alongside its co-located shows GarageXpo India 2018 and RubberTech India 2018. Isuzu Motors India expanded its presence in the country by inaugurating a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare) facility of ‘MohanMotor ISUZU’ in Siliguri, West Bengal. The new strategically located facility will address the growing demand for ISUZU vehicles in the North East, while enabling the company to offer seamless sales and service support to customers in the region. D-MAX V-Cross, India’s first Adventure Utility Vehicle, mu-X – full-size, 7 seater  Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), D-MAX S-CAB – 5-seater ‘Smart’ Commercial Pick-up and D-MAX Regular Cab commercial pick-up models were launched in the city marking the occasion.
