The sixth edition of Tyrexpo India, part of the international Tyrexpo Series, kicks off today at Pragati Maidan, Hall No. 12A, New Delhi, India, alongside its co-located shows GarageXpo India 2018 and RubberTech India 2018. The country’s only trade show for the tyre communitywill be held over three days until 23 June 2018 and is expecting to play host to more than 4,000 trade visitors from across India and other countries.


Over100 global brands including those from peripheral businesses such as tyre equipment and tools for manufacturing, tyre distribution, tyre re-treading and fleet operationsare exhibiting at Tyrexpo India 2018. This dedicated platform explores new business opportunities, exchanges ideas, and showcases products, technologies and solutions relevant to the Indian automotive market. In addition, the trade show extends its reach beyond the tyre industry ecosystem to support other industries such as construction, agriculture and mining.


The second edition of GarageXpo India, a highly specialised automotive repair and maintenance trade showin India, will co-locate with Tyrexpo India 2018. It serves as one of the event highlights to foster business relationships amongstthe automotive repair and maintenance communityin the Indian sub-continent. Building on the success of the first show, this edition will continue to positively engagetrade visitors, as well asmanufacturers and distributors of workshop equipment, safety gears, speciality tools and related products, workshop management service providers, and technology developers.

In addition, collaborative partnerships between Tyrexpo India 2018 and some of the most influential and prominent industry associations have been formed to facilitate knowledge transfers and community building.These include Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA), Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council of India (CAPEXIL) and All India Automobile Workshops Association (AIAWA) and Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC).


Isuzu Motors India inaugurate a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare) facility of ‘MohanMotor ISUZU’ in Siliguri

Isuzu Motors India expanded its presence in the country by inaugurating a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare) facility of ‘MohanMotor ISUZU’ in Siliguri, West Bengal. The new strategically located facility will address the growing demand for ISUZU vehicles in the North East, while enabling the company to offer seamless sales and service support to customers in the region. D-MAX V-Cross, India’s first Adventure Utility Vehicle, mu-X – full-size, 7 seater  Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), D-MAX S-CAB – 5-seater ‘Smart’ Commercial Pick-up and D-MAX Regular Cab commercial pick-up models were launched in the city marking the occasion.

The new facility in Siliguri becomes the second outlet of MohanMotor ISUZU after Kolkata, which has been selling these vehicles for nearly 2 years. MohanMotor is known for its customer-centric approach and is fully equipped to serve the customers in Siliguri and nearby districts.

KTM 390 Adventure slated for an India launch in 2019

KTM confirms that the much awaited KTM 390 Adventure is slated for an India launch in 2019. The model will usher in the Adventure range of motorcycles from KTM in addition to the existing Streetfighter Dukes and Supersport RC.

 KTM is the world’s No.1 off-road motorcycle brand and is undefeated at the world’s toughest race the Dakar Rally since 2001. BBC TopGear in association with The World Towers and Maserati hosted a Grand Show

BBC TopGear India, the most credible name in the automotive-lifestyle segment, associated with The World Towers by the Lodha Group, the premium real estate brand that aims to redefine the art of luxury living and Maserati, the Italian luxury car manufacturer to put up a grand show last night. Arvind Subramanian, Regional CEO, Lodha Group was the speaker for the event and Girish Karkera, Editor, BBC TopGear presided over the evening. Maserati was represented by Mr Sukhbir Bagga – Managing Director, Petal Group, dealer partner for Maserati in India in the western region.


The essence of the luxurious lifestyle offered by The World Towers was brought to life last night as these iconic brands put forth an exceptional night of visual art extravaganza, organized exclusively for art connoisseurs and automobile experts. Attended by the city’s elitist, the highlight of the eventful evening was the Ghibli’s first ever appearance in the form of a gorgeous paper installation which enthralled the audiences. The guests also witnessed an exciting auto display of the latest Ghibli by Maserati around the grand dancing fountains at The World Towers entrance.

The capacious arena also displayed an exhibit of BBC TopGear’s records of the amazing Maserati cars from the past. Later in the evening there was a soulful live performance by the exceptional Luke Kenny, where his band paid a tribute to the iconic brands and their customers. As entertainment for the audience, this was followed by a stand-up comedy act by the comic star, Rahul Subramanian.

RISE INDIA with NSDC launches the largest National Driving Training Initiative

RISE INDIA, a Strategic Investment firm contributing to Skill Development & Education across India, is launching a first-ever campaign to promote driving training in the country. RISE INDIA is bringing the public and private industry together to help create a robust eco system for skill development and training.
RISE INDIA is collaborating with companies such as TATA Motors, Ola, and Shri Ram Transporting – one of the biggest public-private partnerships, with intent to boost driving training and generate more employment in the driving sector.

In the next seven years, RISE INDIA will be providing effective training to over 2.5 lakh candidates and simultaneously up skill another 2.5 lakh existing drivers, raising awareness on crucial issues such as road safety, and technically advanced driving skills. The preeminent organization will be setting up over 50 centres in various locations including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Rajasthan.

Under the National Driving Training Initiative, the first centre will be launched at Chhapra, Bihar on 17th October and inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping and Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

When it comes to road safety, there is a lack of awareness among drivers. Baleno crossed a cumulative domestic sale of one lakh units

Maruti Suzuki premium hatchback, Baleno, has crossed a cumulative domestic sale of one lakh units today.

Launched in Oct 2015, Baleno is one of the top selling models for Maruti Suzuki and has emerged as the leading premium hatchback in India.

While Baleno has gained popularity for its innovative styling, spacious interiors and class-leading features, the superior ride and handling, safety and fuel efficiency have added to its appeal among customers. All Baleno customers have received their cars through NEXA, the new retail experience offered by Maruti Suzuki.

In addition to domestic sales, 33,800 Baleno cars have been exported across the world, including to Japan and Europe.

To mark the occasion of Baleno achieving one lakh domestic sales, Maruti Suzuki’s Executive Director Marketing & Sales, Mr. R S Kalsi, said, “Baleno is one of the big success stories of the Indian auto industry.
