Gurugram-based online lifestyle media platform What’s Up Life has raised fresh funding from actor and television personality Rannvijay Singha, who also joins the company as its brand ambassador.

Rannvijay’s earthiness, passion, exuberance and effective, yet unassuming demeanor, is what resonates completely with what What’s Up life, entails. The collaboration comes in the wake of WUL raising their first round of funding, a couple of months ago, for future growth and expansion.

Ocean Park Hong Kong Soon launching Summer Carnimal 2018

Ocean Park Hong Kong will soon be launching its brand new summer celebration, Summer Carnimal, which will go from 30 June to 2 September. Over a hundred international level elite performers from all over the world will present the biggest ever carnival at Ocean Park, including two different animal-themed grand parades during both the day and night, with tailor-made fine costumes and exquisite giant animal puppets being displayed for the first time. Additionally, amazing shows will be staged every hour – authentic Caribbean cultural shows that demonstrate superb stunts; various traditional Brazilian acts that are both unique and exciting such as dynamic drum performances; and professional synchronised swimming performances to a national team standard. To get guests in the summer mood, a DJ party and vocal band performance at Aqua City Lagoon will also be staged.

 

A group of 50 elite performers from overseas will participate in grand parades during both day and night at Ocean Park this summer, presenting a whole new Caribbean Summer Parade and Caribbean Summer Night Parade. Every afternoon, the international performers will dress up in fine costumes with three main themes – marine life, wildlife and birds. Together with stilt walkers and energetic musicians who will be grooving along to a wild beat, the dancers will perform in three high-energy Caribbean Summer Parades at The Waterfront each day to entertain guests. Guests may spot some familiar faces during the parade, including giant puppets that imitate the Park’s beloved golden snub-nosed monkey, a four-meter tall giraffe and an elegant stonefish. During night-time performances, the professional dancers will change into lit-up costumes and appear glittering in the dark. As they perform in the Caribbean Summer Night Paradein a different style that continues the carnival party, guests will also be able to experience the Park’s unique summer atmosphere at night.

 

In addition, Ocean Park Summer Carnimal will be staging plenty of other amazing shows and performances during the daytime: Applause Pavilion will introduce Viva Spectacular with plenty of difficult tricks and skills in a South American style, all delivered by international award-winning performers; a synchronised swimming team from Canada who perform to a national team standard will entertain at Aqua Kaleidoscope at Ocean Theatre, allowing guests to admire their elegant water ballet up close; Whiskers Wet & Foam Bash and a water playground at Whiskers Harbour will be available for families to chill out together during the hot summer weather. Mean while street performances all over the Park including traditional Brazilian acts and surprise mob drum performances are sure to bring more joy to guests. At night, there will be a vocal band performance from Party Groove at Aqua City Lagoon and DJ’s Burning Beats at The Waterfront Plazaplaying the best summer songs long into the night. Guests can also feast on summer delicacies and chilled drinks from Lakeside Chill, as well as boost their party look with glowing bubble wands, animal-themed hats and more summertime-limited merchandise, together with a face painting workshop with colourful patterns and designs.

Hindustan Times CyberHub Friday Jam Season 5 kicked off on May 25th with a grand launch event featuring the star cast of Veere Di Wedding and a dynamic performance by Punjabi sensation Guru Randhawa. This was followed by a soulful evening with fusion-rock band Indian Ocean in week 2 and a smashing performance by famous Delhi-origin band Euphoria in its third week.

Winning the heart of the country since 1988, the band Euphoria thrilled the crowd with an electrifying performance yet again with their hit tracks.

Palash Sen, lead singer of Euphoria said, “We are bringing happiness, entertainment and lots of dhoom for the people of Delhi and Gurugram. Coming to Friday Jam is like coming back to your family all over again. So, the excitement is even more. I am very happy, as this is the time when we are trying to bring our music out to the people. We have realized over the years that it’s very difficult for major labels to support non-film music. Now we are doing it single-handedly and on our own.” He added.

The jam engaged a large number of people at DLF Cyber hub Amphitheatre with evergreen tracks such as Dhoom, Maaeri, Rok Sako To Rok Lo, Aana Meri Gully, and Mehfuz among others.

 “HT Friday Jam is not just a concert for us, it is a jam featuring Euphoria and all Euphorians. The audience and the band are going to be part of one big jam session, where boundaries vanish and we all are together as one.  There are no age barriers or social differences and everyone is invited to this party. We are pumped up for a euphoric Friday.” said Sen before the live concert.

International School Of Design organized a workshop on Fashion, Interior and Jewellery design  for the students at their head office at A11,Gujranwala Town part1, Mr.Sunjey Aggarwal, Founder & ​CEO, International School of Design and all faculty members interacted with the students to train them in the different art of design fields . The seminar was commenced by the speech of fashion faculty and other department faculties like Interior Design & Jewellery design ​and followed by some tips for these students to groom their personality & a successful career. This occasion was witnessed with some of the renowned names​ in their respective fields.

The workshop was aimed at imparting knowledge to mew design aspirants & enlightening the youth and their parents on the immense career possibilities in creative industries at national and international level. The workshop gave students an insight into a specialized art form.  INSD aims to make its students industry ready. KidZania Delhi NCR Celebrates its 2nd Anniversary

KidZania Delhi NCR, Global indoor theme Park, celebrated its second anniversary this summer. The enthusiastic ninjas of KidZania made sure their young visitors & adults had oodles of fun with plethora of role-playing activities, a meet-and-greet session with celebs and some very cool magic tricks.

Present at the celebrations were the famous Fukrey actor Manjot Singh and the melodious singer Shreya Basu, the little champ from The Voice India Kids reality show. To add more magic to the day, there was the popular illusionist ‘Rahul Kharbanda’, a Guinness world record holder, who enthralled children of all ages. The celebrations also included a small tete-a-tete session with the actor and a cake cutting ceremony.
